Last year I prompted for a early flu shot in September.My wife was exposed last week and came down with it soon after.I came down yesterday also.My sister who is a nurse says the shots are usualy effective 6 months.Probably the wise thing would be a booster shot in Febuary.Im om tamiflu hopefully to slow it down.TChe drug has not gone generic yet so it is very expensive.They say you can take it and avoid the flu if you take it 1 pill for 10 days.
