Vote now for the Access to Understanding People’s Choice award

Struggling to make sense of current scientific findings? Frustrated with the jargon and information overload that accompanies science research?

The 'Access to Understanding' science-writing competition ,run by the British Library and Europe PubMed Central, challenges early career scientists to explain fascinating, current research in plain English.

There are 10 articles in the running for the prizes, including one explaining Parkinson's UK funded research.

This year, as well as the judges’ choice, The People’s Choice award, will  be chosen by the public - so you have the chance to have your say.

Here are all the entries and details of how to vote: http://a2ucomp.org/

The competition is open until 12pm on 24 March 2014, and the winner will be announced that evening at the awards ceremony.

Best wishes
