How many people do you think a poster in your local GP surgery reaches?

We estimate that if this poster is up for 3 months, it could reach 14 people affected by Parkinson’s with the vital information about the support that Parkinson’s UK can offer, particularly to the newly diagnosed.

Thanks to the hard work of our local groups so far we estimate that 60,000 more people affected by Parkinson's will not have to face Parkinson's alone.

Do you live in the South West, Wales, Yorkshire, Scotland or Northern Ireland and would like to help less people have to face Parkinson’s alone?

We are looking for volunteers to spare a bit of time during a specified period to target key areas such as GP surgeries, pharmacies, hospitals and care homes with our Turn to Us materials in the most hard to reach areas of the UK.

If you have any questions then please contact me at [email protected] or 0207 932 1350.

We don't have any PD info in our surgery - so if you need me to get some posters up I can certainly try? Opps just noticed it doesn't relate to the South - guess we miss out again!

Hi Jolliffee,

Thanks for your comment, and wanting to be involved.

Although we are only recruiting Reaching Everyone Volunteers in our priority areas at the moment, as this is where we need more coordinated activity, we would encourage anyone to distribute Turn to Us materials in their local areas, to ensure everyone has access to information the support provided by Parkinson's UK.

To find out more information about the campaign and how to order Turn to Us packs free of charge then please follow this link:  http://www.parkinsons.org.uk/content/turn-us-campaign

If you do get chance to get some posters out there - it would be great if you could fill out the online survey or get in touch about where you have been so we can know where we have covered and where there are still gaps.

Thanks, and good luck!
