Walk for Parkinson's - Swansea
Join us for our Walk for Parkinson's along the Swansea Bay coastline path.
- Start and finish: Outside 360 Beach & Watersports
- Minimum sponsorship: £50 suggested
- Advance registration: £12 for adults and £5 for under 16s
- Registration on the day: £15 for adults and £7.50 for under 16s
- Registration opens: 10am
- Start time: 10.30am
- Route: 1.2 mile and 6.2 miles
Enjoy magnificent views of Swansea Bay as you walk along the flat coastline path from 360 Beach & Watersports Centre. The longer route takes you to Oystermouth Square in Mumbles and back, while the shorter route takes you to Sketty Lane car park and back.
We suggest that all walkers aim to raise at least £50. Your entry fee goes towards the cost of organising the walk, but by raising £50 in sponsorship, you can make a huge difference to the lives of people with Parkinson’s.
Dogs: are welcome to join us on our walk but must be kept under control at all times.
Accessibility: both routes are flat.
Toilets: located at start/finish with public toilets along route.
Parking: there are many car parks around the walk start point.
Marshals: are placed at strategic points along the route.
Walk packs: Your walk T-shirt and fundraising pack will be sent soon after your registration and your number and on the day information will be sent the week prior to the walk.
Registration: Please note registration closes just over a week prior to the event. On-the-day registration will be available but will be cash only and will cost £15 for adults and £7.50 for under 16s.
