Kick-start your summer with a 9 mile sponsored walk to the summit of Snowdon – the highest mountain in Wales, starting in Llanberis.
You'll walk the Llanberis Path route to the summit of Snowdon, where you'll be able to admire the breathtaking views of the Snowdonia National Park, with Anglesey and the Irish Sea in the distance.
We suggest that all walkers aim to raise at least £50. Your entry fee goes towards the cost of organising the walk, but by raising £50 in sponsorship, you can make a huge difference to the lives of people with Parkinson’s.
Age restrictions: You must be 10 years or older to take part.
Under 18s should be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Fitness: A good level of fitness with prior training is required to take part in this challenge.
Dogs: We discourage dogs from this walk, however, if you do bring your dog, they must be on a lead at all times and are prohibited from entering the Electric Mountain Centre.
Toilets: Available at the registration point and at the summit of Snowdon.
Parking: Parking is available at the Electric Mountain Centre and costs £4 per day.
Marshals: This challenge is self-led. You’ll be provided with direction on where to walk and there will be a team of mountain guides along the route to provide assistance and check you're staying on course at all times.
Walk packs: Your walk T-shirt and fundraising pack will be sent soon after your registration and your number and on-the-day information will be sent the week prior to the walk.
Registration: Please note registration closes just over a week prior to the event. We are unable to offer on-the-day registration at this walk.
