Choose from the challenging 8 mile circular walk that takes you through Friston Forest, the village of East Dean and along the dramatic Seven Sisters cliffs in East Sussex. Or our NEW ‘14 Sisters Challenge’ which is the 7 mile route that starts at Exeat towards Birling Gap and then back again! There’s also the option to do a 3 mile family trail, starting at the country park and ending at East Dean. The end of the walk involves a scenic bus ride back to the start point.

We suggest that all walkers aim to raise at least £50. Your entry fee goes towards the cost of organising the walk, but by raising £50 in sponsorship, you can make a huge difference to the lives of people with Parkinson’s.

More details

Dogs: Dogs are welcome on the walk.  Please keep them on short leads at all times, particularly when walking the cliff top path.

Toilets: Toilets are available at the start/finish point, next to the visitor centre. On the route the only toilets available are in the Hikers Rest Café and Tigers Inn Pub, which are both in East Dean Village near our water station.

Car Park: We are using the Riverside car park which is adjacent to the A259, and nearest to our registration point. In the event of this becoming full, the Forest car park is available within the country park. Parking is £3.50, cash or card.

Accessibility: The 8 mile route is not for the fainthearted. The total ascent is approximately 1,450ft and there are a number of stiles and steps.

Refreshments: Please ensure you bring a drink and snack/light lunch with you. There will be a refreshment point on the route on East Dean village green which will consist of water and a biscuit. The café at Seven Sisters Country Park will be open from 10.30am-5pm on the day of the event.

Walk packs: Your walk T-shirt and fundraising pack will be sent soon after your registration and your number and on the day information will be sent the week prior to the walk.

Registration: Please note registration closes just over a week prior to the event. On-the-day registration will be available but will be cash only and will cost £15 for adults and £7.50 for under 16s.
