Returning for 2019, this stunning 6 mile walk will take you around the beautiful grounds of Packwood House, its impressive Yew Garden and the historic moated manor house of Baddesley Clinton. The walk takes you along the picturesque Stratford upon Avon canal and along the Heart of England way. This will be a great walking event for all the family and will suit most levels of fitness, age and ability.
We suggest that all walkers aim to raise at least £50. Your entry fee goes towards the cost of organising the walk, but by raising £50 in sponsorship, you can make a huge difference to the lives of people with Parkinson’s.
Entry to both National Trust properties is included in your entry fee to the walk.
Dogs: Dogs are very welcome in the grounds of Packwood and Baddesley however not in the house or gardens of either National Trust properties.
Accessibility: This walk will suit most levels of fitness, age and ability, but please note that the route isn’t suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.
Toilets: There are toilets at Packwood House and Baddesley Clinton.
Car park: There is ample parking at Packwood House.
Refreshments: Water is available at the end of the walk and refreshments can be purchased at either Packwood House or Baddesley Clinton’s café’s.
Walk packs: your walk T-shirt and fundraising pack will be sent soon after your registration and your number and on the day information will be sent the week prior to the walk.
Registration: Please note registration closes just over a week prior to the event. On-the-day registration will be available but will be cash only and will cost £15 for adults and £7.50 for under 16s.
