If you'd like to run for Parkinson's UK, please complete our Active Endurance registration form. We ask our runners to pay a £40 registration fee and pledge to raise a minimum of £350 in sponsorship.

The general ballot for 2019 is now closed. If you secured your own place in this event and would like to run for Parkinson's UK then please complete our short Active Endurance form. It's free to join our team and we suggest you aim to raise £150.

Funds raised from the Simplyhealth Great North Run will go towards quality services. People with Parkinson's have told us they want high-quality care at every step of their journey with the condition, regardless of where they live. We won't stop until this happens.
We'll support you through your training and fundraising, and be there to cheer you on the day. You'll receive a breathable running vest with iron-on letters and a fundraising pack.

The Great North Run is one of the world's most popular and exciting half marathons. Nearly 60,000 runners will take to the streets of Newcastle on Sunday 8 September 2019. Starting in Town Moor park, the route will navigate over the Tyne Bridge and through Gateshead before finishing in South Shields. To find out more, visit the Great North Run website.
