Kick-start your summer with a 9 mile sponsored walk to the summit of Snowdon – the highest peak in Wales, starting in Llanberis.
You'll walk the Llanberis Path route to the summit. At 1085 metres above sea level you will be at the highest point in the British Isles outside the Scottish Highlands. Here you will be able to admire the breathtaking views of the Snowdonia National Park, with Anglesey and the Irish Sea in the distance.
Walk for Parkinson's
Take part in a Walk for Parkinson’s in 2017 and help raise vital funds for people affected by Parkinson’s. Every step will take us closer to a cure.
All our walkers will receive the best support from us, including: get the very best support from us, including:
- A Walk for Parkinson's t-shirt
- Fundraising advice, including a fundraising pack
- Support with your training
- A finisher's medal
You must be 10 years or older to take part
Under 18s should be accompanied by a parent/guardian
A good level of fitness with prior training is required to take part in this challenge.
Dogs: We discourage dogs from this walk, however if you do bring your dog , they must be on a lead at all times and are prohibited from entering the Electric Mountain Centre.
Toilets: There are toilets available at the registration point and at the summit of Snowdon.
Parking: Parking is available at the Electric Mountain Centre and costs £4 per day.
Marshals: There will be a series of checkpoints along the route, manned by experienced mountain guides.
Walk packs: which include your walk t-shirt and number will be sent out 2 weeks prior to the walk.

Minimum Sponsorship: There's no minimum sponsorship required to take part in the walk, but we suggest that walkers aim to raise at least £50.
Registration: Please note registration closes 1 week prior to the event. We are unable to offer on the day registration at this walk.
