Barnardo's

Barnardo's is a children's charity that offers support to young carers.

Beacon

Beacon is a not-for-profit agency that specialises in NHS Continuing Healthcare, offering information, advice and casework services.

Carers Direct

Carers Direct offers information, advice and support for carers in England.

Care Directions

Care Directions provides detailed advice and information on a range of health and care issues for older people.

Carers Federation

The Carers Federation provides support for all carers, including programmes for public and patient involvement, for people with mental health issues and those needing counselling support.

Carers Trust

Carers Trust provides information, support and practical help to make it easier for carers. 

Carers UK

This charity provides information and advice about caring alongside practical and emotional support for carers.

The Children's Society

The Children's Society is a children's charity that offers support for young carers.

Crossroads Caring for Carers Northern Ireland

Information and support for carers in Northern Ireland.

Crossroads Caring Scotland

A charity providing home-based respite through short breaks or longer periods of support for carers, and personal care for people living alone across Scotland.

Disabled Living Foundation

A charity giving impartial advice and information on daily living aids, including mobility equipment.

Employers for Carers

Employers for Carers provides practical advice for employers on supporting carers within their workforce.

Independent Age

A national charity providing information, advice and support services for older people. It also produces publications, such as the Care Home Handbook.

Relate

Provides relationship counselling and support services, delivered at 400 locations, by phone and online. 

The Relatives and Residents Association

Provides information and advice on care homes (fees, standards, complaints etc), as well as a 'listening ear' for those with emotional concerns.

Revitalise

Revitalise (formerly known as Vitalise) provides nurse-led care with real holiday experiences for disabled people, carers and volunteers.

Royal Association for Deaf people

If you're Deaf or hard of hearing, the Royal Association for Deaf people has produced a carer's toolkit. All the information is signed in BSL with subtitles and available online. It's also available as a written information pack with a DVD.

The Outsiders

The Outsiders is a social and peer support network of disabled people, offering advice for people who have concerns about sexual or personal relationships.
