People with Parkinson's need a breakthrough and we won't wait any longer. That's why in Parkinson’s Awareness Week 2017 we asked the public to support our research.
There's still time for you to tell your story about how Parkinson’s has affected you, a family member or a friend, and share it online. By telling your networks what better treatments and a cure would mean to you, you can help make a difference. Make a video to tell your Parkinson's story:
World Parkinson's Day
This year World Parkinson's Day (11 April 2017) marked 200 years since Parkinson's was first recognised as a medical condition.
To mark this day, we teamed up with the European Parkinson's Disease Association to #UniteForParkinsons. We want to thank everyone who joined us on World Parkinson’s Day. The #UniteForParkinsons hashtag was used 5815 times across 76 countries on 11 April, raising awareness around the world.
