People with Parkinson's need a breakthrough and we won't wait any longer. That's why we've been asking the public to support our research this Parkinson's Awareness Week (10 - 16 April).
There's still time for you to tell your story about how Parkinson’s has affected you, a family member or a friend, and share it online. By telling your networks what better treatments and a cure would mean to you, you can help make a difference. Make a video to tell your Parkinson's story:
World Parkinson's Day
This year World Parkinson's Day (11 April 2017) marked 200 years since Parkinson's was first recognised as a medical condition.
To mark this day, we teamed up with the European Parkinson's Disease Association to #UniteForParkinsons. We want to thank everyone who joined us on World Parkinson’s Day. The #UniteForParkinsons hashtag was used 5815 times across 76 countries on 11 April, raising awareness around the world.
