Additional questions about membership
What happens once I have joined?
Once your application has been processed we'll send you a new
member welcome pack. This contains your membership card, a
selection of useful resources and the most recent issue of 'The Parkinson' magazine.
Can I make an additional donation?
Yes, you can, when completing the application form. Many of our
members choose to make an additional donation to us when they join
or renew. This is entirely voluntary, but we are always grateful
for any additional support.
Where is my nearest local group?
We have a network of around 350 local groups across
the UK. You can find your nearest group using our local group finder. Some groups charge a small
administration fee, ranging from £1 to £10, to cover their
costs.
Is it possible to have a joint membership?
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer a joint membership
category at the moment. All members need to apply individually.
We can however set up your personal record, and that of your
partner, to only receive one mailing per household if you prefer.
To request this, simply contact our Supporter
Services team on 020 7932 1344 or membership@parkinsons.org.uk,
or tick the box on the application form.
