Cornwall Coastal Challenge
Congratulations to our 45 supporters who took on our
2011 Cornwall Coastal Challenge!
It was a rewarding walk and is set to raise vital funds for
people with Parkinson's in the South West.
The Mayor of Porthleven gave our walkers an encouraging send off
as they left Porthleven Harbour and started the 10.8 mile walk to
Marazion. It was a damp day, but everyone kept their spirits high!
Even on a cloudy day, the coastal path is beautiful.
It's a challenging route, but everyone finished in good time and
joined us for a gathering in the Cutty Sark pub in Marazion.
Rosemary Neil, Fundraising Development Officer, said: "It was
great to see everyone striving to complete the walk for the same
reason and coming together to raise money for people with
Parkinson's.
"Thank you to everyone who took part and a big well done for
taking on the challenge!"
Walk for us in 2012
