Jordan is a diverse country, from the dramatic red sands and towering cliffs of the far south, to the stony plains of volcanic basalt in the east. It truly is a unique place.

The challenge - what to expect

Your challenge is to trek 100km over 6 days through spectacular desert and jagged mountains to the ancient sites of Petra.

This archaeological jewel is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

It was an utterly unmissable experience. I had a huge amount of fun and made lifelong friendships.

Join our team

Our group will be made up of people of all ages and backgrounds. The experience of being part of a team with a common goal is fantastic and many people leave having made friends for life.

  • The challenge is open to anyone over the age of 18.
  • You must complete an application form and medical form. If you are over 60 or have medical conditions you may be required to get your GP's signature.
  • It is important to consider the minimum sponsorship carefully when applying - we rely on the sponsorship raised to fund our vital work.

Our work is totally dependent on donations and money raised will go towards helping us find a cure and improving life for everyone affected by Parkinson's.
