Your support will help us raise much needed funds for people with Parkinson's in the North East.

All cyclists receive an exclusive Pedal for Parkinson's cycling top, sponsorship forms plus fundraising and training tips.

Do I have to raise sponsorship?

There's no minimum sponsorship required to take part, but we'd love you to raise as much as possible. We suggest setting yourself a target of £100.

It was tough but enjoyable. Riding through the beautiful Tyne Valley and passing such famous landmarks as Armstrong's factory and Stephenson's Cottage.

The route

  • 20 mile circular route - heading upstream on the riverside promenade to the Newburn Riverside Trail. Passing through Tyne Riverside Country Park, towards Wylam, taking in Keelman's Way and the river Derwent, before heading back

Entry requirements

  • Participants must be 12 years or over on the day of the ride
  • All under 16s must be accompanied by a paying adult
