Parachute for Parkinson's
- When: Saturday 12 June 2010
- Where: Netheravon Airfield (near Salisbury, Wiltshire)
A huge congratulations to all of the Parkinson's UK team that
completed their skydives on the 12 June!
After a long wait for volcanic ash to clear our brave group of
14 finally made their way to the Netheravon Airfield, filled in the
forms and completed their training.
Our group of skydivers included celebrity supporter Amy Guy
whose mother has Parkinson's, our very own Chief Executive Steve
Ford and Director of Fundraising Paul Jackson-Clark. Perhaps
bravest of all was Len Humphreys 76, who had never been in a plane,
jumped out at 14,000 feet!
The group has so far raised over £10,000 for Parkinson's
UK.
