Recycle for Parkinson's UK
Recycling is a great way of raising much needed
funds while diverting unnecessary waste from
landfills.
In 2012 we set you the target of doubling the
funds raised through recycling to £10,000. And we
are delighted to say congratulations, you did it!
Thank you very much for all your hard work recycling old gadgets
as well as taking on the challenge of jewellery and car
recycling.
Help us by making recycling your New Year's resolution in
2013
You can recycle all of the following items:
- Mobile phones
- PDAs and BlackBerrys
- MP3 players and iPods
- CDs and DVDs
- Digital cameras
- Satnavs
- Toner and inkjet cartridges (except Epson, Epson compatible or
damaged cartridges)
- Hand-held game consoles
- And now laptops
How this helps people with Parkinson's
- 2 printer cartridges could pay for the postage of our Being There DVD to be sent to someone newly
diagnosed with Parkinson's
- 5 mobile phones could help pay for a nurse on our helpline to take calls for an hour
