Recycle for Parkinson's UK
Recycling is a great way of raising much needed
funds while diverting unnecessary waste from
landfill.
In 2011 we raised over £4,600 by recycling old
mobile phones and inkjet cartridges so thank you to everyone who
contributed!
Help us double the donations we receive through recycling in
2012
You can help by recycling all of the following items:
- Mobile phones (all makes and models)
- PDAs and BlackBerrys
- MP3 players and iPods
- CDs and DVDs
- Digital cameras
- Satnavs
- Toner and inkjet cartridges (except Epson, Epson compatible or
damaged cartridges)
- Hand-held game consoles
How this helps people with Parkinson's
- 2 printer cartridges could pay for the postage of our Being There DVD to be sent to someone newly
diagnosed with Parkinson's
- 5 mobile phones could help pay for a nurse on our helpline to take calls for an hour

Jewellery recycling
This year we're launching a jewellery recycling campaign with
75% of the profits raised from old jewellery going to Parkinson's
UK.
It would be great to find as many partners as possible to raise
the profile of this new campaign. If you have any connections
with local jewellers or companies who you think might be willing to
display our jewellery recycling envelopes on shop counters, please
don't hesitate to contact us on the details below.
