How the Parkinson's Brain Bank supports researchers
The Parkinson's Brain Bank offers high-quality
tissue, extensive clinical and postmortem donor information and
expert knowledge to help researchers towards a cure for
Parkinson's.
Our extensive laboratories have modern analytical equipment. They
are managed by a team of highly skilled staff, who carry out
neuropathological diagnosis according to the latest international
standards.
Tissue and donor information
Based at Imperial College London, the Parkinson's Brain Bank
supplies clinically and neuropathologically well-characterised
human brain, spinal cord and cerebrospinal fluid samples.
We also have an extensive database of lifestyle, disease
progression and drug treatment information on people who have
signed up for the Parkinson's Brain Donor Register.
