Translational research grants

Our research strategy is focused on finding a cure for Parkinson's.

While this guides our research funding priorities, we continue to support innovative Parkinson's research across all areas.

Deadlines

The next deadline for translational grant applications is Monday 7 October 2013.

Duration

The duration of a grant is up to 3 years and will be for up to £500,000.

Extension of a grant beyond 3 years is exceptional and requires formal re-application.

Eligibility

We'll prioritise applications which aim to deliver real outcomes - such as finding new drug targets or developing better therapies.

Grants are tenable only at a United Kingdom university, NHS Trust, statutory social care organisation or other research institution.

Principal applicants should hold employment contracts that extend beyond the period of the grant.
