I've had a snooze this pm Ali. Such a lovely day, I've been in the garden most of the time.

I got so tired walking round town this morning, tried to do too much after a lot of gardening yesterday, had to have a taxi home and a snooze.

I went to London yesterday. For a sunny Saturday it was very quiet, I got a seat on the tube everywhere I went.

Now then Mosie, I wonder just why that might have been?

Do I detect any slight touch of sarcasm there AB?biggrinbiggrin

I went to Ebbsfleet on the Olympic Javelin Train. Eight carriages long and only me and one other in my carriage. Hoards of helpers at the stations standing around looking very bored.

Sarcasm? Moi? Not at all! I am just wondering how the javelins got to Stratford? You are not allowed to take even a nail file on boats or trains or planes.
As a matter of nosiness - why did you go to Ebbsfleet? Are you away to France?

My youngest son lives near Ebbsfleet, there was a big family party, 3rd birthday for William and 1st for his twin brothers.

I was a bit apprehensive about going since I moved out of London because I was finding travel on public transport really intimidating. But I used the Bakerloo, Victoria, Circle and Hammersmith and City lines all much quieter than a normal summer weekend. I ate lunch by the river outside the National and then went on to the party. The only problem I had was the Bristol train coming home, it was packed and I must have been looking exhausted, one young woman offered me her sitting space on the floor outside the loo!
