I only support two teams - Wales and whoever is playing against England. ( but that's only in rugby. )
For the Olympics , I shall support Team GB and all of the 'British' competitors.

I too, like ali j and Mike700, shall be supporting Team GB. Of course , other countries who do well deserve praise and recognition. That after all is the spirit of the games. Let's hope it all goes well from here on in, and let's enjoy.

So who's sat in front of the box, eagerly anticipating the opening ceremony - in the rain.
We're sat with a couple of bottles and chocy bars, the dogs been fed and the 'phone is off the hook.
( the bottles are just in case we get 'taken short'. Just joking )
Hope everyone enjoys it all.
Regards.

What a fantastic Opening Ceremony especially the forging of the Olympic Rings and the young athletes being given the opportunity of lighting the cauldron. Can't remember enjoying anything so much on TV for years.
Also very emotional especially seeing Mohammed Ali.
Looking forward to many more hours of viewing.
Good luck Team GB.

Wonderful opening ceremony for the 2012 Olympics , i think we did proud .
I will be watching most sports but must admit being a league hockey player when i was fit i will be rooting for team GB. also the rowing and swimming .
I also found it very emotional seeing Mohamed Ali , he looked very frail ....
So lets get behind our sports men and women I think its going to be a GREAT games.

We don't half heap some amount of pressure on our athletes.
I'm glad to see our athletes hitting back by being sporting enough to let the other teams win.
My beloved Rangers are playing today in the ramsdens league cup. Its live on BBC ALBA at 3pm, So I better brush up on my gaelic/find the mute button. It will make a change from watching team GuBbed getting GuBbed at some other race, some other country is better that than us, using some other part of their anatomy, with some other stick or size/shape ball.
I do take some inspiration from these olympians.
My biggest inspiration, however, has to be team PD and one of the greatest olympian fighters of all time - Ali - with a J.
