Hi Ali, hope you enjoyed the garden centre, I've not been so enthusiastic with my hanging baskets this year 'cause the weather's been so rubbish, but yesterday we went out for lunch with some friends and we briefly called into the garden centre on the way home. When it eventually stops raining, I'll do a bit more planting.

This weather is so good for the weeds, far end of the garden is getting knee deep and worse!

Hi everybody, hope you all had a good day. We had reasonable weather today in West London YIPPEE!! Did the rest of my baskets, (I know what you mean Ali, they're about the only thing that I can really do as well) my husband does all the rest (actually he even did one of the baskets this year, but it is usually my job). Oh it would be lovely to have a real nice evening when we could light the barbie. Never mind Chinese take-away tonight. Looking forward to that!

I helped a friend order some stuff on the internet, so now I'm waiting in for the deliveries. But when he collects the stuff we can use his van to go to B&Q for some pots, bags of soil etc etc
