Thanks Mosie. Ice cream sounds good now, big or little. I'm hot after walking up the road with as much shopping as I could safely carry. Car's in for a "check up"!
Enjoy rest of day..

I feel as if I have achieved things in the garden today. I have never worked so much n the garden at any other house I have lived in, not sure if ropinirole is influencing this, but I am doing no harm and enjoying myself.

Afternoon everyone, another lovely day in Aberdeen, have been out enjoying the rays. Ironing needed done so done in the garden. Gone in now to make dinner ham joint, baby minted potatoes and spring vegetables, followed by apple crumble and ice cream. Scones and pancakes still to be made. smile
Hope you have all been enjoying this glorious weather.

Mmmmmm . . . . . sounds delicious.
Have got my enthusiasm back for cooking just recently.
Someone told me to watch 'The Little Paris Kitchen' recently and I did !
She's so inspiring - you'll want to try her own take on French cooking.
Not being broadcast at the moment, but can catch it on BBC i-player no doubt.
And then, of course there's the book . . . . . . .

In this hot weather I can't eat what I would call a 'proper' meal in one sitting. So I am snacking worse than ever, lots of fruit but also toast and yogurts, tends to be lots of sweet snacks and nibbling at cheese.

Mosie, I am like you in hot weather can't eat properly. Trouble is with all the snacking and less energy to use up the calories I have been putting on weight instead of taking it off.
