Hello hope everybody is well. Raining here today in NE Scotland.
Visitors arriving this afternoon thought I would do some baking - disaster tidying up afterwards drying blades from food processor slit open thumb blood everywherethen timer on oven beeping couldn't get to oven quickly enough and cake is now burnt what a waste of time and effort oh well at least the birds will be fed. Oh well will just need to make some pancakes and scones later.

Congratulations you have had a worse day than me, and I was feeling sorry for myself. I bought some new dishes and some lovely ramekins with a gold trim. I managed to chip a lump out of one of the dishes on the way home, then carrying the ramekins to the sink I lost control, threw one across the floor...tiled...and it shattered.

Hope you have got over it all now.

Hi all better although thumb still sore. O/H came home from work to check I was ok which of course I was.but very nice to see him. made Welsh cakes in the afternoon before visitors arrived.Visitors are Welsh so they were greatly appreciated.

Hi Mosie, hope you are having a better day - no more broken ramakin dishes. I have had a much better day but looked at thum I have had a much better day. Weather has been great today how has it been for everyone?
