Swanland is a village near here.
A cob is a male swan (female = pen).
"sounds like" bread = "bred" ? = live?

So you're 1st N would be wrong.

Yes, could be LAKE.
Don't think NONCOM is right, prefer CANNOT, but that means a changed 1st letter.
