It is rather a shame is it not Mosie? I have some lovely old-fashioned roses which have a lovely fragrance that I can no longer smell

AB and Mosie must be difficult not being able to smell, I am lucky I still have a sense of smell but it is not so acute as before.

Smell is also a large part of taste. Luckily I like spicy foods, although I am not so sure that my tummy does!

I have inherited roses in my garden and I don't know which ones should smell. Like you, AB, I have become fond of more spicy food as the subtler tastes go. Like most other things I have days that are better and I catch some smells as I walk round. AT the moment I have some basil in the kitchen and there's no smell.

Hello Guys and gals, I am trying to keep my stiff upper lip at the moment, Great trauma in my life at the moment so have to keep disappearing to regain a littles balance and composure, unfortunately Puddley is surrounded by great lakes of...... tears !
Talking of sense of smell,, Is that why the flowers don't smell like they did,my daughter shoved a honeysuckle flower under my nose the other day and I could hardly perceive any scent at all. I loved the scents and smells of the garden and countryside. I am on some pain stuff which seems to have heightened my taste of pepper or maybe it's because I've had my daily amount of pd drugs doubled.Everything tastes so peppery ?
why does it change our personality so much, or is it just Me ?? This part of Pd is crucifying me, I am a changed woman and certain people in my life think that is what I have always been. Not so and it's killing me.
I have to go mop up again sorry folks. I'm back to my insomnia again so I may pop back when I feel a little more in control, during the night !

mmm, Silence reined and we all got wet! Seems the sett is empty, I've said it before, leave the sett empty and them weasels and ferrets will be down here causing anarchy again, Still as it's only me, I'll sit in the corner and try to doze, although I forgot the patches, Again, and now both legs are nicely in spasm. First this one and then the that one, it's abit like riding a bike but it throws my body forward, I suppose a bit like being thrown over the handle bars if you pull just the front brake lol !
AS I'm feeling so cr.., if anyone's making tea, mines an Earl Grey, not too strong and milk too pleeeeze

Puddley you are not logged in so I am thinking you have dozed off for a while, I'm going to try the crossword, back later.
