As far as I recall new cars provided by Motability through your local dealer are registered at the DVLA as being OWNED by Motability, even though the name on the log book is that of the disabled KEEPER.
So if the manufacturer (e.g. Toyota) wants to do a recall, they'll first contact the dealer, who will then contact the purchaser (Motability), who will finally get in touch with the keeper (the lessee).
We should get our recall, and then get the work done, within a few months then! If we crash the car and kill ourselves in the meantime (the problem is that the accellerator soometimes gets stuck down!) it's been nice knowing you all.
