Hi It states on our insurance you have to be under 6o to claim for PD We didn't have the cover anyway, only for terminal illness and life cover. If it isn't in black and white you wont get it. Angel4u

Im also claiming critical illness with [post edited], six months on and still no date as to a decision .My original policy was through [post edited] there wording under critical illness, was if not able to work in or engage in your own profession for profit.
The key word being (or) then listing personal care and well being as a separate issue .
At first they said no but constant pressure from myself they agreed to look into it,to date i have fulfilled all there request and submitted all medical forms, they don't make it easy if you check my post on retiring from work you will see why.
If i can help in any way please don't hesitate in asking i will gladly be of assistance tone

Hello Janiegee

Sometimes critical illness insurance can be claimed under the 'Total and Permanent disability' clause in the policy.
Its worth checking out! You will require letters of diagnosis and details of your medical record from your neurologist for verification.
