Yesterday I tripped on the back door step and went flying. The result was a few grazes and bruises plus a nasty gash on my leg. The paramedic turned up and closed the wound with bit of tape and artificial skin, then wrapped a bandage round it, so I now have a bandage from toes to knee.

My problem is how to have a shower and keep the bandage dry? Any advice?

Hello AnnieG, get one clean plastic bin liner, cut a hole in the bottom of it, put your leg in, tie the bag over the top of your leg and let the shower spray run down, Result - a dry bandage !!! (hopefully)...biggrin

Hi slight variation i would use a black bin bag no hole cutting but bandage it with cling film, take a long shower.make sure you have a safety non slip mat, you can stand firm on both feet, much safer lol and you will not get wet.
