Empty
---------
The world closes in,strangling with emptiness fulfilled
When clouding, embracing nothingness deep inside forever smoking
Slips into, ties the cord, floats on the gulfstream of its choosing
As the ligature around that slender throat then tightens, choking

That heart constricted as it echoes empty to each beat
Sad icicles that drip Red poison death beneath the moon
Caught whispering in mid Rhapsody,a Vampires lustful hymn
As Crimson chords melodic breathe a deep orchestral tune

The day it dawns too bright now as the night retreats too dark
Rains bitter tears as empty as the soul which pleads its woes
To what extent such endings saturate that sponge of pain
Enticing those who covet dark desires like blackened crows

With Emptiness from every pore, caw loud as taking flight
Knowing that which severed holds resentment and mistrust
To be cruel to be kind is best?,but not as easy as they say
When hurt felt in the rebound builds a comlex layer of rust

It was meant to be so simple and oh!! so the right choice
But now I see how cruelty can leave too much for some to bare
When it really should be no surprise or major revelation
That the emtiness within me,just resides forever there

I am going to write a frivolous poem today.

My intray had a little note
Father's Day someone had wrote! (poetic license spelling/grammar)
Tradition tells me what to buy
Another snazzy, gaudy tie!

I found a site upon the 'net
Once seen those ties - you won't forget!
In the past, I've bought a few,
Break habit? But one more will do!

I've bought the tie filled with balloons,
Rugby balls and music tunes
One with pencils, one, guitars
Another showing vintage cars.

A teacher needs a tie with class
This web-site is so hard to pass
What shall I add to his collection
From the novelty tie selection?

A London bus, a tie with dogs,
There's one of slimey greenish frogs,
One with sheep and loads with flags,
Come and fill those shopping bags.

I can't decide, there's too much choice,
I like the one with postbox voice
Telling doggy 'don't even think,
Of spraying me with your last drink!'

Shall I go plain red or electric blue?
Or pink with sky blue dots on too?
Clowns faces or a policeman's hat
I reckon he won't care for that.

I think I know which one to buy
To swell the rack which holds each tie
I can't tell you, a secret still
But on Father's Day, perhaps I will!

FRIENDS

A candle ignited in my heart,
The day, Dear Friend ,that I met you,
And it burns each day even though were apart,
So we are always close in what we do,
And ever shall it's tiny flame burn bright,
For it lightens dark,
And warms the heart,
Because no-one can extinguish the flame of friendship true,
When a candle burns in your heart too,
And so ,Dear Friend ,I thank the Gods,
For the special light I find in you,
That ignites the spark that lights up my life,
And with warmth and love guides me in all I do.

Sorry PB to break the mood.I am replying to the previous ode. I am of to see the dentist so this come out without it's final polish.Honest your Majesty I'm only joshing!!

A tie, a tie, another bloody tie, where has your imagination gone
There are many other things, another tie is just so wrong.
There was a time when I was your everything and much more
But now you spend more time writing than knocking on my door.

Is it any wonder, I will ask you, this one last and final time
You think more of a verse whilst you pursue an elusive rhyme.
I may be your husband, it would seem, opposites do attract
Let me tell you loud and clear, I’m looking for a new contract.

I think I will take the tie and make a noose with a Windsor knot
And then I’ll write a note to you and reveal to you the plot.
Knitted and patterned, silk, satin, polyester, or plain dyed wool
It’s time to ignore the pupils, it is time you went back to school.

I have no intent to harm myself so I will make a lifelike effigy
Of some poet like Keats or Shelley, that is my evil strategy.
Then take it to the Market square and plug it into power sockets
I will set alight the latest tie leading to a pocket full of rockets.

When my case comes up in court I will say that I am insane
Driven mad by reams of paper and you must share the blame
That froggie tie you gave me last year, you can have it back
The rest I gave to Oxfam where they hang on a special rack

That man who spurns a cosmic tie
Will not, with me, see eye to eye!
Another gift I can propose,
A set of hankies for his nose!
Too hard to please these choosy men,
What about a nice new pen!
A shirt, a scarf, some garden stuff?
That's the lot, I've had enough!
A bottle of gin will have to do,
Happy Father's Day from me to you!

This Sunday for you Dads do enjoy your day
As it is that time of year for children to say
What a special Dad you truly are

No doubt a card and gift you will receive
But whatever you get do look pleased
It could be a tie, another mug for your tea
How spoilt you Dads deserve to be

Nothing much will change this Fathers day
Sat in your chair, waiting for Football to play
Remote by your side where it has to stay
Sit back, feet up like you usually do
Happy Fathers Day I send to you x

Confessions of a FACEB[OOK JUNKIE::redface::]

Driven by dependency,
My subconscious mind awakens me,
From fitful sleep,
Appendages barely carry me,
Like an inebriated praying Mantis ,
downstairs ,
I ,
creep,
And in darkened room, like a sleazy druggy whore,
I anxiously await my fix
And then, my high, pervades me deep,
Chemicals replace my lack of sleep,
The Facebook Junkie ,HIGH AGAIN,
My pimp dealers having messaged once again,
Another justification
Another day
Another stupid thing to say !
