Once upon a time
Not so long ago
This young girl
With blonde hair and many a curl
Did not like pretty dresses and bows
Or fancy shoes that hurt her toes
A Daddy's girl, sadly not
Always in trouble, well quite alot

She was a Tom boy who climbed trees
Kicking a ball about getting grazed knees
Playing football with the boys
No interest in dolls or silly toys
A Mothers face can say it all
With that look, as I recall

Time passes by so very quickly
As I reflect on that girl as me
My childhood has since long gone
Much older now 50 and some
Where did that time sadly go
It really wasn't long ago.

Since I retired I have found lots of ways to spend my time and my sewing machine has been a real friend - saving me from feeling totally useless.I have lost count of how many aprons I have made but I have a Liverpool F.C. one - and PB, it is for you!

Jehovah was in his club,
You had to have at least one on-going cosmos to even apply.

Well two didn't work well
- a little flat and even the amoebas
couldn't get it together, so, well
nothing interesting ever evolved.

Yes that would be disappointing,

Wimp. Time is the only way to produce a cosmos worthy of the name and preserve the first principle. Roared Jehovah

They all cowered at the mention of the first principle - you shall not intervene once your cosmos is created - bacause it brought to mind the Awful Ones, and they were not something that any god wanted to be reminded of.

Just take a look at this -
and he conjured before them an image of a tiny green and blue planet and they watched slime turn into fish into frogs into enormous reptiles into lord mayors and astronauts and people reading on the internet.

All the other gods clapped and whistled
