Has bogman left the building?
Has turnip gone as well?

Will one of you please tell?
Have we shut the shop up?
The bank burst into flames?
I pass by every morning,
But never see your names.
Here comes the bus called 'Lonely',
I'll have to climb on board,
As no-one here is speaking,
Silence, I can't afford!
August will soon be creeping,
Will the door be locked and sealed
A heavy bolt shot firmly
All poets well concealed!!
Or will the gate be open?
With windows washed and clean
And all you resting wordsmiths
Back into the routine?

I climbed upon the Lonely Bus
Many months ago
I did not want to make a fuss
When so down and low

Now perhaps I can raise a smile
Maybe just a grin
And get off this bus for a while
Feeling not so grim

I read this section every day
Always have done so
Am in constant awe of the way
Poetry does flow

I'll use WD40
And the windolene
So in August we may sortie
With the slate swept clean

Time just seems to disappear,
Before you know it, bedtime's here.
Accomplishments listed for these hours
Are undeserving of any honours.
Just undertaking daily chores
Takes forever and surely bores.
Writing a few lines in poetic form
Delays the need to somehow perform
All the tasks that should be done.
Let me count them one by one...
No, I'd rather shut my eyes
And contemplate how time flies.

I wait for any bus to come
hold my pass so tight.
Road repairs- hooray! But no bus now.

Next doors little ginger cat
likes to come and call.
Tail held high, he owns it all.

His gift to me, a dark brown mouse.
Mine to him
"Assassin! Leave my house!"

been busy with work and writing a story.
had a very unpleasant time with a blue-tounged lizard and the lawnmower. or rather half a.....

Climbed upon the lonely bus
Thought I'de take a ride
To see where Lin and others were
But there to my surprise
An empty bus with empty seats
And no one inside

So here you all are
Not so very far
Hiding in this corner
Writting new poems
Lin, AB and ElleMac
Turnip, bogman, Titan and Marcel
This is the place where you all excel

Let August be the month for
Each day to write a lyric
where you know we all enjoy
Reading ode's and been a critic
We all verse in different styles
Which makes this a special place
So come on and put a smile
On that someone's pretty face.
