Anna looks in the mirror
Hoping to see
A reflection which resembles
her body before PD

Anna looks in the mirror
And what does she see
A body thatS hiding a
once positive soul
Trapped by the image
the mirror holds

Nobody listens
Nobody sees
Only the mirror
Shows her life with
PD

Shut your eyes Anna
Look inwards and see
A life loving soul
And let it fly free.
Shun mirror image
And cast aside PD
Climb over the hurdles
True to yourself be. x

Dear Angel4u
Your poem is so sad
But so very true
This Parkinson's Disease
Makes us all feel blue

When you look in that mirror
Your eyes filled with fear
Stop and look closer
At what you can see
A pretty face there has to be

No help am I
As words gone dry
So all I can say, is
Anna I give to you
A cyber hug and love too

Anna keeps her eyes open
Deals with her fate
Her spirit is loving
Its PD she hates

It attacks her with no mercy
Affects her laughter and tears
She searches her mind for a reason
Looks back on the years

Don't feel sorry for ANNA
I am sure she will be fine
once she takes down the mirror
That plays with her mind
