This is only a guess, but clicking through the forum probably stores up a lot of temporary files. Deleting the IE cache might help. (Tools/Internet Options/Delete Files, etc.

It certainly seems to speed things up for me - not exactly white hot, but an improvement.

We're sorry you've been finding the site really slow. Our web developers are looking at this today. They will need to 'reset' the server so you may find yourself kicked-out at some point. If this happens, just log back in again.

As Lily has mentioned above, it's always wise to delete your temporary internet files that store up and can slow down your computer.

If you're still experiencing any slowness after today then please email forum@parkinsons.org.uk with details of when this is happening eg date, time and what you are doing.

Hi y'all,

I rarely have speed problems with this website. Just lucky, I guess! I do use the Disk Clean-Up programme once a week, so I expect that helps.

I agree we wait ages for connection & we have high speed , don't have problem anywhere else , it needs investigation thanks Marie
