Our self-management programme returns for 2018

Our self-management programme returns this spring - and we've got more opportunities than ever for people affected by Parkinson's to get involved.

Face-to-face self-management groups

Our face-to-face groups, running across the UK, bring people with Parkinson's, their partners and carers together to share experiences and discuss the practical and emotional impact of Parkinson's.

Find a group near you.

Online self-management groups

Our online self-management programme allows you to work at your own pace, in the comfort of your own home. The programme lasts for 6 weeks and you'll have access to our self-management workbook.

Alongside this you'll receive support from either an online or chatroom group.

For more information email or call 020 7963 3924.

Navigating Parkinson's

This new self-management information and support day is designed for people recently diagnosed with Parkinson's, their family, friends and carers.

You'll be able to ask questions, share information, discuss self-management and hear from others living with Parkinson's, in a group of no more than 30 people.

We're running these 1-day sessions throughout June 2018 in Birmingham, Boston (Lincolnshire), Newport (Wales), Isle of Wight and Taunton.

Volunteering opportunities

We're also looking for people living with Parkinson's and current partners or carers to facilitate face-to-face groups in:

Opportunities for volunteers to host the online groups are also available.

We provide full training and support. Find out more in our Introduction to volunteering as a self-management facilitator (PDF, 1MB), by emailing or calling 020 7963 3924.
