Sutton, Kingston and Epsom Working Age Group
The Sutton, Kingston and Epsom Working Age Group (WAG)
was set up in July 2005 when a number of members of
working age felt they would like to more formally meet and exchange
views and information with other people of working age.
We meet on the third Wednesday of each month at 8pm
either in someone's home or at a pub/restaurant, with other events
as required.
Social activities and exchanging ideas/views
- Whilst the social activities are a very important aspect
of our getting together, we are also very interested in the
exchange of ideas and experiences - what was good for us and
what wasn't - at the meetings but also via email.
Friendship - We are very keen to see the
membership grow since the more information and experiences we have,
the better informed we are and the better we can make our lives -
and the more friends we can make!
Information and support for people with
Parkinson's, their carers, families and friends - We all
know that exercise is very important and we have
arranged sessions with a neuro-physiotherapist who can tell us
which exercises are best for Parkinson's. We intend to have further
experts along to update us on various aspects that are of
particular interest to us.
Get in touch - If you live in the Sutton,
Kingston and Epsom areas, why not drop us an email or come along to
our meetings. We can promise you fun and we will be able to offer
you something - you will certainly be able to offer us something!
Check the Events page of the Sutton,
Kingston and Epsom Branch for information on forthcoming events
and activities.
Why not give it a try? In the meantime, enjoy the site!
