Research Conference - 24 May 2012

A generous donation from the Freemasons' Grand Charity has
allowed our Berkshire and Hampshire branches to put on a conference
'Towards a cure: research into, and living with,
Parkinson's'. The conference will be the official launch
of the Research Support Network in the
South.
The conference will have top researchers explaining their
projects, what they have achieved so far and when they expect to
see results. All places have been allocated on a first come first
served basis to members of our local group network, but the day is
being recorded for a DVD.

Southampton golf day - 25 May 2012

There's still time to tee off and raise money for a good cause
at the 25th annual Southampton AM Connect Rotary Club Pro-Am Golf
day.
Competitors are looking to raise more than £4,500 for our
Romsey Branch.
The day has been organised by the Southampton AM Connect Rotary
Club, with the local golf club, and up to 40 teams will take on the
5,718 yard course in the heart of Romsey. Each team will be joined
by a professional golfer from a local clubs.

Parkinson's UK Run Highclere - Cancelled
2012
With regret due to heavy rain creating unsuitable conditions for
running in the grounds of Highclere Castle, our Run Highclere event
on Sunday 29 April was cancelled.

Romsey Gala Concert - 9 June 2012

for this exclusive concert in the glorious Romsey Abbey has
already sold out, for what promises to be an enchanting
evening

Oxford Walk - 21 October 2012
Make a
difference to the lives of people with Parkinson's and join us on
our walk in and around the beautiful, historic city of Oxford.
- Start/Finish: The Cherwell School, Marston
Ferry Road, Oxford OX2 7EE
- Distance: 8 miles
- Entry fee: £6 per participant (including
t-shirt), £15 per family (2 adults and 2 children under 16)
Money raised through taking part in our Oxford Walk will help us
to find a cure and improve life for
everyone affected by Parkinson's.
