Bath Half Marathon - 11 March 2012

Join us for Bath's historic half marathon. The Bath Half Marathon is a fast, flat course, on both sides of the river Avon, avoiding the hills surrounding the city. The 2-lap course has proven 'personal best' criteria, and is completely free of traffic.

Parkinson's Awareness Week events

Skydive Netheravon - 14 April 2012

Where: Netheravon Airfield, near Salisbury

Help us launch Parkinson's Awareness Week 2012 and parachute for Parkinson's!

You will be securely connected to a qualified instructor who will control your parachute. Training will also be provided on the day.

Parkinson's study day - 16 April 2012

9am-4.30pm

This study day is organised by Lynn Gill, Parkinson's nurse, for health care professionals wanting to learn more about Parkinson's in the local area.

There is a non-refundable £20 attendance fee, payable on booking, which includes lunch and refreshments.

Parkinson's Activity Weekend - 21-24 September 2012

Calvert Trust Exmoor is pleased to be working in partnership with Parkinson's UK to offer an activity weekend specifically designed for people with Parkinson's, their family and friends, to experience exciting, challenging and enjoyable outdoor activities.

Calvert Trust's fully accessible, award winning, residential centre is AALA registered - all activities are on site and specifically designed and equipped to cater for everyone. Activities on offer include archery, climbing, kayaking and bushcraft.

This fully catered special weekend includes accommodation, a structured programme of activities and evening entertainment. Also included are tips on life skills for living with Parkinson's and help on finding ways to participate in active sports in your local area, all for just £275 per person.
