Information and support workers can
help to provide you with:

- emotional support for you and your family members
- help with benefits and the application process
- a supporting voice if you are having problems getting your
needs assessed

Parkinson's nurses
Parkinson's nurses are experienced registered nurses who have
taken extra training in Parkinson's. They can:
- give expert advice, information and support to families and
people with Parkinson's
- refer you to other professionals such as a physiotherapist,
speech and language therapist or occupational therapist
- see you in your own home or in a clinic or hospital. This
service is available Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm.

Branch and volunteer support officer
The branch and volunteer support officer provides support to our
branch and our branch volunteers, and can help build links with
