Branch Vice Chair
This is a generic description for the volunteer role of Branch
Vice Chair. Commitment requirements may vary slightly from branch
to branch.
Purpose of the role
To deputise for the Branch Chair and assist him or her with the
day to day running of the branch.
Commitment expected
Subject to negotiation with Branch Chair. Usually consists of
attendance at branch committee meetings and occasional events.
Description of tasks
- To carry out the duties of the Branch
Chair in his/her absence
- To support the chair in the decision making process
- To carry out any other duties as designated by the chair
