Parkinson's UK Together

Representatives from our local group network of branches and support groups joined staff during May for our Parkinson's UK Together events.

These are a series of events held across the UK to share information and discuss the work of our charity.

We'll be holding other events in September in different locations, so don't worry if you couldn't attend in May.

The main objectives of the day were to:

• find out more about what we do locally, nationally and UK-wide
• share news and information about your branch or group
• discuss specific issues
• meet and work with representatives of other local groups and staff

Registration

Up to 3 people from each branch or support group attended an event.

• All places have now been allocated - thank you to everyone who registered.

• Monday 14 May 2012 - Holiday Inn Bloomsbury, London
• Tuesday 15 May 2012 - Carlisle Racecourse, Carlisle
• Wednesday 16 May 2012 - Menzies Hotel Cambridge, Cambridge
• Thursday 17 May 2012 - Leeds Village South, Leeds
• Friday 18 May 2012 - Village Nottingham, Nottingham

Travel expenses can be claimed through branch funds.

Events in Scotland and Wales

Together events will also be held in Scotland and Wales during May and will run alongside other events that are already planned for this time.

We hope everyone enjoyed the Scotland Together event on 1 May. The Wales Together event is still to come.
