Awareness Week Pamper Day

In conjunction with Woking and Weybridge Branch. This event is limited to 34 members from each branch and is for people with Parkinson's and their carers. Lunch and 3 therapies are free except for a £5 booking fee. There is also an opportunity to visit Mercedes Benz World, opposite the hotel.

Branch holiday 2012

Monday 4 June - Friday 8 June
Venue: Warner's Bembridge Coast Hotel on the Isle of Wight

Turreted, tranquil, imposing, impeccable. Bembridge Coast Hotel sits on a secluded eastern shore of the Isle of Wight just metres from the lapping, glistening Solent. With its 23 acres of grounds, its elegantly landscaped gardens and its marvellous sea views, Bembridge Coast is the ideal place from which to explore the island that occupying Romans called 'Vectis'.

Full breakfasts and three course dinners in the Four Tides restaurant are included and we reserve an area just for our group. There are too many activities to list here and each evening there is live entertainment in the theatre. If you would like more details of the hotel, request a Warner's brochure from 0800 138 2633.

We will arrange door to door transport from Surrey for those who need it at a price subsidised by the branch. All guests must be members of Parkinson's UK. This provides cancellation in case of illness confirmed by a doctor. Warner's also have a cancellation scheme. See brochure for details if you are interested.

Prices from £287 per person in twin/double room. Single rooms available from £397. Ferry £20 per car return. There are 2 or 3 rooms available in our allotment. Other accommodation may be available. For an application form phone Michael Leahy on 01252 724857.

Loseley Help Centre sessions

When: Second Tuesday of each month, 12noon-2.30pm (bring your own lunch)

The Loseley Christian Cancer and Parkinson's Disease Help Centre has 20 regular members that meet at Loseley Park Chapel and Tithe Barn. People with Parkinson's and their carers are welcome - of any denomination or none.

Our branch runs exercise groups to improve mobility for people with Parkinson's, in association with the charity Extend.
