Hylands House Walk

Congratulations to our 213 supporters who took part in our Hylands House Walk on 2 October 2011!

They hope to raise £10,000 to help us make a difference to the lives of those affected by Parkinson's.

With unseasonably high temperatures, our walkers enjoyed a very hot 2 or 7 mile walk around the historical parkland of the Hylands House estate in Chelmsford.

The unexpected heat made the walk a bit more of a challenge for everyone, but created a wonderful summery atmosphere and the cold Copella apple juice, kindly provided by Copella Fruit Juices, helped to keep everyone cool.

Carol Stork, our former Eastern England Regional Fundraiser said:

"We were delighted that so many people came along to take part and had such a great time in the unexpected October sunshine. A very big thank you to all of our walkers - and all of the volunteers who helped to make the event a success."
