Writing and replying to posts
1. Things to check before you post on
the forum
- Check for duplicate posts. If there is already
a topic open on the subject you may find your question has already
been answered. Otherwise you should post a reply on the
existing topic.
- Don’t post duplicate posts on different
forums. These will be removed by the moderator.
- Use descriptive titles for new topics. Avoid
generic titles such as 'Help' or 'Question'. You will receive a
better response to your thread by being more descriptive about its
content.
- Check your post is placed in the correct
topic. The moderator can move posts between topics as
appropriate, and will contact you if they do this.
- Make sure your post is relevant to the topic.
Off topic or irrelevant posts may be moved or the moderator may
lock the topic and propose a new discussion be started.
If you are not sure about submitting a post

conditions. The forum moderator can also help; you can contact
them by email at forum@parkinsons.org.uk
