Reference Cards (UK) provide standardised guidance for
physiotherapists working with people with Parkinson's
disease.
The cards directly support clinical practice at any stage of
Parkinson's in the clinic, on the ward or in the community.

Using the Quick Reference Cards
The Quick Reference Cards relate to best practice in Parkinson's
disease. The 4 cards each cover a diagnostic or
therapeutic process.
Card 1:
History-taking
- Card 2: Physical examination
- Card 3: Specific treatment goals
- Card 4: Treatment strategies
Each card fits on a single page of A4.
The clinician can print and laminate the cards and use them for
quick reference.

We have developed the cards with:

- ACPIN (Association of Chartered
Physiotherapists Interested in Neurology)
The cards are based on the guidelines developed by the Royal
Dutch Society for Physical Therapy in 2004.
