Course description

This module forms part of the BSc (Hons) Nursing Degree/Diploma, providing the student with 40 credit points at Level 2 or Level 3.

It may also be studied as a 'stand alone' module, open to nurses on all parts of the NMC Professional Register who are caring for individuals with Parkinson's, as well as physiotherapists and occupational therapists.

Aim

To enable the registered practitioner to develop practice as a member of the multidisciplinary team, within the specialist field of caring for people with Parkinson's and their carers
