Officer delivers seminars and courses for health and social care
professionals who work with people with Parkinson's in
Scotland.

Training dates
All our courses, aimed at a wide range of
professionals, are delivered in-house at your organisation's
venue.
We are also running our 3-hour seminar Towards an Understanding of Parkinson's
Disease, for staff in nursing and care homes and home care
agencies, on the dates below.

Our courses

A 3 hour seminar for staff in nursing and care homes and home care
agencies (domiciliary care agencies).
If you can not provide a suitable venue, or only have a small
number of staff able to participate, see above for training
dates around the region.

A full day, more in-depth version of Towards an Understanding of
Parkinson's. This is also aimed at staff in nursing and care homes
and home care agencies, including social services care
workers.

A full day course for social care and housing staff who are
responsible for assessing an individual's care needs and arranging
support services

A 2 hour session for ward and other hospital-based staff

A half-hour presentation on the challenges of Parkinson's for the
general practice team
