Designed for Life

Designed for Life sets out the Welsh Assembly Government's vision and framework for creating world-class health and social care in Wales by 2015.

Launched in May 2005, the document includes an emphasis on the importance of people being seen by high quality staff at home or locally or passed quickly to excellent specialist care where needed.

It also highlights the importance of support for carers and the rights and welfare of frail and vulnerable adults.
