Parkinson's campaigners - real life stories

We campaign to make sure people living with Parkinson's are treated fairly, with access to the support they need.

Many of the services offered to people with Parkinson's have improved, but there are still areas where health and social services fall short.

Below, Jim tells us about his experience and what he's doing to improve treatment and support both locally and nationally.

Jim Henry

Diagnosed in 2006, Jim was shocked by the lack of support and information he was offered. He tells us how he went from seeking help from us to becoming chair of our Lisburn Branch and campaigning to improve services.
